Image
Walton & Company recently donated their services and materials to help upgrade the Steam Into History facility located at 2 West Main St., New Freedom, Pennsylvania. It is important to get behind this educational organization that celebrates a piece of our nation’s history. Walton & Company is thankful to have been able to give back. Steam Into History Project Steam Into History started operations in 2013 and has carried nearly 80,000 passengers on their steam locomotive, the York No. 17. This locomotive is a replica of the one that carried Abraham Lincoln to Gettysburg to deliver the Gettysburg Address and, two years later, served as his funeral train. You can visit the  Steam Into History website  to view hours of operation, special events, and admission fees. This non-profit organization is dedicated to preserving and teaching about an important time in history.
